Wenzhou-Kean University’s Computer Science (Master of Science) major prepares you for careers in the tech world, giving you the analytic and technical skills needed to solve problems and master current and emerging technologies. Graduates will be able to work in business, government, banking, e-sports, IT industry and other fields. Course modules consist of: computer information systems, advanced analytical algorithms, database systems, software engineering, software assurance, independent graduate studies in computer science, numerical analysis, computer simulation of models, network systems, artificial intelligence concepts, high-performance computing, etc. Graduates will be qualified for careers in software engineering, information technology system development, network security, artificial intelligence, machine learning, security monitoring and other related fields.

Program Educational Objectives

The Master of Computer Science degree has the following program educational objectives:

Admission Requirements and Relevant Application Materials

1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

● Applicants, if graduated from mainland China institutions, must submit an evaluation of their official university degree by China Credentials Verification (https://www.chsi.com.cn/).

● Applicants, if not graduated from either U.S. institutions or mainland China institutions, must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official university degree by the National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES) (http://www.naces.org), such as the International Education Evaluation (IEE) or World Education Services (WES).

2. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher (lower GPAs will be considered based on strength of overall application)

● Applicants, if graduated from mainland China institutions, must submit an evaluation of their official university transcript by China Credentials Verification.

● Applicants, if not graduated from either U.S. institutions or mainland China institutions, must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official university transcript by the National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES).
