WKU has officially joined the Zhejiang Province Experimental Animal Association.

Recently, the Zhejiang Province Laboratory Animal Industry Association issued the "Announcement on the Admission of Units Such as Arelfa Nuclera (Ningbo) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. as Members" (Zhe Dong Xie [2025] No. 17). After deliberation at the seventh meeting of the third standing council of the association, Wenzhou-Kean University was successfully approved as a member unit of the association. It will assume member obligations and exercise member rights from January 1, 2026. 

The Zhejiang Province Laboratory Animal Industry Association is the authoritative organization in the field of laboratory animals throughout the province, playing a leading role in industry norms, scientific research promotion, and resource sharing. This time, our school, along with five other units including Aierfa Nuclite (Ningbo) Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Hongcan Health Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., Ningbo Yaochen Pharmaceutical Research and Development Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, and Zhejiang Normal University, have been approved for membership. This is an endorsement of our school's related work by the association and also injects new impetus into the development of our discipline. 

After joining, the school can participate in the association's academic discussions, technical training and other activities, and keep abreast of the latest industry developments in a timely manner; at the same time, it can build a bridge of cooperation with top universities and enterprises in the province, promoting the integration of industry, academia and research. 

In the future, our school will adhere to the association's charter, leverage our internationalized educational advantages, and continue to make efforts in scientific research, talent cultivation, and social services. We will join hands with all member units to promote the high-quality development of the experimental animal industry in Zhejiang!
