Biography
I was born in Agropoli, Southern Italy. I obtained a PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Salerno, Southern Italy in 2017. In particular, I was guest PhD student for 18 months at the Mälardalen University, Sweden. During my PhD program, I was awarded the Best Student Award for the scientific paper “A functional derivative for the Riemann zeta fractional derivative” at the ICNPAA 2016 World Congress in La Rochelle, France.
Returned to Italy in 2017, I was adjunct professor of Calculus and Statistics in some Italian universities (e.g., University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Bologna). In 2020, I won a postdoctoral position at the São Paulo State University, Brazil in wavelet analysis and its applications.
My research interests include fractional calculus, fractal geometry, functional analysis, and their applications. I am currently the Editor of different scientific journals in these areas (e.g., Fractals, Mathematics). Moreover, I edited different Special Issues in these research topics. I wrote different papers on fractional calculus of zeta functions.
Research Interests
Wavelet analysis, fractional calculus, fractal geometry, dynamical systems, applied functional analysis, analytic number theory, harmonic analysis, chaos theory.
