Biography

Dr. Ammar Alshemary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Wenzhou-Kean University, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2015) and has previously worked at Karabük University and Middle East Technical University in Turkey. His research focuses on bioactive inorganic nanoparticles and their biomedical applications, reflected in 51 SCI journal articles published in Q1, Q2, and Q3 journals. Dr. Alshemary has supervised 9 Master's theses and led 7 funded research projects as principal investigator. He has received fellowships from the High Education Council of Turkey and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Currently serving as the Assessment Coordinator for the Chemistry Department, he established the Nanomaterials Research Center in 2024, where he acts as Director. Dr. Alshemary's work demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing research in inorganic nanomaterials and their applications while contributing significantly to teaching and academic leadership in chemistry and materials science.

Research interests

Dr. Ammar Alshemary is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in the field of inorganic materials chemistry. His research interests focus on bioactive inorganic nanoparticles, inorganic nano-carriers, and metal oxide nanoparticles, with applications in biomedicine and advanced materials.
