Biography
Dr. Peiyao Lai is a Lecturer of Mathematics at College of Science, Mathematics and Technology at Wenzhou-Kean University. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she focused on data privacy, optimal control, and mean field games. Her research and teaching interests span mathematics, data science, and finance, with experience in computational neuroscience, machine learning, and quantitative modeling. She is dedicated to helping students strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills. Outside the classroom, Dr. Peiyao is interested in applying data-driven methods across disciplines and in supporting students as they prepare for future careers in research, technology, and industry.
