Biography

Dr. Yan Yan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Wenzhou-Kean University, Wenzhou, China. From 2019-2022, he was a research associate at Shenzhen University, conducting research in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He also held seminars and advanced level classes for master and doctoral students in Computer Vision and Image Analysis. He has many years of teaching and research experience. Before 2019, he was a research scientist at Columbia University, focusing on developing machine learning and data analysis algorithm for sequential data in geoscience and oceanography. He also had research experience in Parallel Computing, PDEs Optimization, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Dr. Yan has published research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He has been technical reviewers for many journals in data mining and applied mathematics.
