Biography
I have finished my Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the USA and PhD from University of Glamorgan (South Wales) in UK. As a graduate of USA and UK academic institutions enriched my education experience and broaden my views. I have finished my Masters with distinctions 3.812/4.00 and I have been awarded class A+ in my PhD studies by my director of studies.
I communicate fluently in English and Arabic, with 11 years of teaching experience in UK, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
I have also abroad industry experience that enhances my knowledge and provide perspective on my lecturing ability and information that otherwise will still be academic only. I have several industrial certificates CompTIA security+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIA and many others over the years. Such certificates provide me with insights when delivering my lectures onto the practical of the theory that I deliver.
Recently I have passed the required Exams for Block Chain and Information Security Management by The British Computer Society.
I have developed four Lab curriculums for Computer communications and networking based on CISCO material. I have developed several networking courses syllabuses and contents, such as, Computer Networks, Networks Protocols, Network Programming, and Cloud Computing.
Research interests
The title of my thesis is “A simulation Framework for Service Continuity over Multi Access Wireless Networks”. Simulation and modelling of cellular wireless systems is the core of my research interest. Therefore, my research interest is in modelling and simulating of Wireless networks especially LTE and the study of performance analysis of next generation networks and inter working.
Interoperability between Radio Access Technology systems is an objective of my research as well as Interoperability with IMS.
I am also interested in queuing theory and applications as well as traffic engineering modelling and simulation. I am also interested in investigating multiple wireless Antenna systems (MIMO) and how it influences the capacity and system performance of LTE.
One of my interests also is radio frequency Energy Harvesting for mobile stations. This topic is major interest these days because it has a major impact on green energy and it helps the environment. Using MIMO antenna systems with energy harvesting is one of my research topics at this time.
Security issues and applications is a topic of my research and interest. I have supervised two Master Students on different Security topics
