BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Nasser Mustafa is a Research and Teaching Professor at Wenzhou-Kean University, China. He holds dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering from California State University (USA) and the University of Ottawa (Canada), and completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering at Carleton University, Canada.
Active in both research and teaching, Dr. Mustafa’s primary focus is modern software engineering, centered on AI-agent-driven software application development. His research investigates how intelligent autonomous agents support the full software lifecycle, covering system design, automated functional testing, result validation, and data-driven system analysis, with strong emphasis on software quality assurance to build robust, secure, and reliable software solutions.
His broader research interests include Internet of Things (IoT) systems, blockchain technology, and cybersecurity. During his tenure at Wenzhou-Kean University, his innovative research integrating IoT and blockchain for intelligent logistics systems has yielded officially registered intellectual property patents, translating theoretical research into practical industrial technological solutions.
Dr. Mustafa maintains international research collaborations with scholars across the United States, China, Canada, and Jordan. He has held academic and research positions at numerous prestigious global institutions, including the University of Ottawa and Carleton University (Canada), University of Westminster (UK), University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Ajman University of Science and Technology (UAE), as well as Philadelphia University and Al-al-Bayt University (Jordan). His extensive global academic experience supports high-standard, internationally aligned research and teaching in intelligent software and secure distributed systems.
RESEARCH INTEREST
Prof. Mustafa research focuses on model driven developments and models transformation with particular with particular emphasis on automation systems developments using smart techniques such as Artificial Intelligence.
