RESEARCH ACHIEVEMENT
Early Period Alzheimer’s Disease Memory Training Application:
MeTAP (Memory Training Application) is a highly personal customized spatial memory software system developed on the base of Microsoft Azure. During the aging process, humans have to face a series of memorial problems like memory decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Fortunately, with the help of the Old Mode and the Guardian Mode games in MeTAP application, the elders can train their memories effectively. In the Guardian Mode, the guardian restores the objects and positions used frequently by the old in the Old Mode, then the old can get the corresponding games on the platform, which trains his/hers spatial memory. Additionally, MeTAP has the object searching assistance function. MeTAP uses bright colors to mark daily objects and positions, and it has Auto Speech Recognize function, so that the old can use it with ease. Up till now, there are few products of its kind in both domestic and foreign markets. As the domestic Senior care market becomes increasingly intellectualized and personal customized, this application has enormous research value and a hopeful future of utilization.
